“It is an old, charming inn with winding stairs and hallways. The room was very nice sized, the bed comfortable, had good light, and a modernized attached bath. Do not compare it to a modern luxury hotel. The breakfast was great and the restaurant had great food for dinner. Location perfect-right across from the lake and easy walk into town. All the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Loved it!”

“The room was beautifully done and the property on the lake is absolutely beautiful! The food at the restaurant on the property was delicious and you were able to sit indoors or outside overlooking the lake! A memorable stay and worth every penny!”

“Beautiful property, felt like home. The breakfast was delicious! They even surprised us with cake for our wedding anniversary. The towels and sheets smelt amazing! ”

“Great quiet getaway but just a short drive to anywhere you want to go. Plenty of room for many people to enjoy their time. ”

“The cabin itself was beautiful, but while driving there you lose GPS for the last 10 minutes. It is very hard to find. You actually have to drive into a grassy field to a gate. The ramp to get into the house does not have a railing and is very slippery in the rain. I fell going down the ramp in the dark while grabbing something out of my car. The solar lights outside do not stay on very long so it is very hard to see anything. I also messaged the host and told her about mouse droppings in the……

“The house was not clean, feces on the toliet in the master bathroom, used toothbrushes in the upstairs bathroom, kitchen table was covered in crusted on food. We opened the refigerator and there was moldy food along with dirt. The host did refund my cleaning payment but I still feel like for $1000 for two nights it should have been way better. The house is secluded and did have enough room for everyone, which was a postive. The washer had so much mold growing in it we couldn't imagine that……

“Our stay was fantastic! We had a challenge with the key code Vrbo sent to us, but Tom corrected the situation right away. Tom was available when needed. The peacefulness was very relaxing. Thank you Tom and Lisa.”

“Host is very nice;quiet; ”

“Cute little cottage. Nice for a full weekend getaway.”

“host was very communicative, allowed us to extend our stay, there were plenty of kitchen supplies and things throughout the house so we found everything we needed (fishing rods, playing cards, etc) the area is so nice and everyone around is so kind especially the next door neighbor Eric. if you have a chance to meet him he’s an awesome guy.”

“This cabin is really unbelievable. I can't wait to go back. The peace and quiet relative to how close it is to Cortland can't be beat. The pond, the deer, the MOON... Loved every minute of it.”

“I wish we could have been there more than 2 nights to enjoy the outdoors. Hosts are friendly, helpful and easy to reach if needed. The lodge is clean and comfortable.”

“Gorgeous spot!!! Very clean and fully equipped home with all your needs. Great view from deck which leads to a fabulous, well cleaned pool. Great for folks with mobility issues. Michael was very easy to communicate with. Definitely a hidden gem!!!”
